Description:

Ammdent Fiber Post has excellent light translucency for efficient light cure and Its improved radiopacity is among the highest of available glass fiber posts. The elasticity of fiber post is far more similar to that of human dentine than is the elasticity of metal and ceramic posts, which means a much lower risk of root fracture.

This Fiber Posts can be removed simply, while not damaging the tooth in case of endodontic retreatment. Fiber Post’s distinctive resin composition and equally dispersed parallel fibers lead to superior mechanical strength.

Directions To Use:

• After completing cleaning and shaping of canals,complete obturation till apical one-third of the canal
• Trial fit the Fiber posts and determine the desired length.
• Select a post that fits passively in the canal after preparing the post space. Ensure that the post does not engage in the canal
• Isolate and clean the post space and introduce the the core build-up material and selected the post into the space
• Let the core material cure and ensure that the post is stabilized.
• Confirm correct placement of the post with radiographic images
• Cut off the excess post material from the top and complete the remaining build-up.
• Note that the posts has to be placed over the centric cusps.
