Description

Ammdent GI FILL is excellent for restoring cervical erosion areas, root caries, or for other indicated restorative uses. It can also be used as a line in conjunction with a composite restoration. Its index of refraction matches that of tooth structure, preventing the shine-through or mat-white effect resulting from the use of other opaque glass ionomer liners with composites.

Directions To Use

• Before each use, fluff powder by inverting the bottler several times.
• Scoop powder from the powder bottle with a measuring scoop, and place a level scoop of powder onto the mixing pad. Repeat for as many scoops of powder as required.
• Divide powder into 3 equal portions on the mixing pad.
• To ensure the dispensing of uniform-sized drops of the liquid bottle in a vertical position, squeeze the bottle gently and release pressure after each drop separates from the bottle. Any residual liquid on the tip of the liquid dispenser should be removed by wiping a damp napkin to prevent clogging of the nozzle.
• Dispense the required number of liquid drops onto the mixing pad.
• Using a plastic spatula, incorporate one of the three portions of powder into the liquid. Mix in successive portions until the material reaches a homogenous, composite-like consistency.
• Mixing should be complete in 30 seconds.
• Follow appropriate application techniques.
• Immediately after placement, cover all exposed surfaces of GI FILL with DCL Varnish.
