Description:

Ammdent Biocanal Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer is a ready-to-use obturation material designed to simplify root canal procedures for dental professionals. Packaged in a pre-loaded syringe, it eliminates the need for manual mixing and is activated by the natural moisture within the canal, ensuring a reliable seal. Its bioceramic formulation allows it to be used independently or in combination with gutta-percha cones, injected gutta-percha, or carrier-based systems. With a setting time of 1–3 hours, a radiopacity equivalent to 3 mm of aluminum, and an ideal film thickness of 50 μm, it offers precision and clarity during radiographic assessment. Biocanal is indicated for permanent and select primary teeth where no successor exists, following thorough canal cleaning, shaping, and disinfection. It is intended exclusively for use by qualified dentists in clinical or hospital settings. The product must be stored between 10–30°C, and post-use care includes proper disposal of the tip and secure resealing of the syringe.

Directions To Use:

• Complete Root Canal Preparation: Thoroughly clean, shape, and disinfect the root canal using standard endodontic protocols.
• Dry the Canal: Use absorbent paper points to dry the canal before applying the sealer.
• Dispense the Sealer: Attach the application tip to the pre-loaded syringe. Gently dispense the required amount of Biocanal sealer into the canal.
• Insert Gutta-Percha: Place the gutta-percha master cone or other obturation material (e.g., cone carriers or injected gutta-percha) into the canal filled with sealer.
• Complete Obturation: Use your preferred obturation technique—lateral compaction, vertical condensation, or carrier-based—to seal the canal thoroughly.
• Post-Use Handling:
  • Do not recap the used application tip. Dispose of it as per national/local biomedical waste regulations.
  • Clean the syringe tip and attach the provided storage cap securely.
  • Place the syringe back into its zip pouch and seal it to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
